Cousins was formerly known as Sandwich Brothers, and has since 2016 employed young people with a refugee background who have sold organic ice cream from bicycles.
Now they have taken over half of the third floor of the shopping centre Glasmagasinet where, in addition to the ice cream factory, they also have a café that offers lunch or early dinner (open 10am-7pm) with hand-brewed coffee, natural wine and delicious cakes from their own patisserie. The project is social entrepreneurship, and every time you buy something from Cousins, you contribute to Oslo becoming a little more diverse.
