Sverre Sætre Konditori is an artisan confectionery located behind the royal palace at Briskeby in Oslo.
Sverre Sætre started up in 2003, and established the shop and production facilities at Briskeby in 2007. The confectionery is known for working in the borderland between chef and pastry chef, using continental techniques while highlighting Norwegian traditions and flavours.
Traditional cakes and desserts are given a new twist. One example is the waffle heart which is deeply rooted in Norwegian culture, and which got resurrected as a chocolate creation with flavours such as strawberry, hazelnut and pistachio.
Sverre Sætre Konditori uses seasonal ingredients as much as possible, and sells a wide range of confectionery and chocolate, as well as seasonal cakes.
