"Frank is an internationally known saxophonist and clarinetist. He received his education from the Jazz Line at the Norwegian Academy of Music. From an early age, he became interested in New Orleans jazz. He has played in bands such as; Union Rhythm Kings, Jazzin Babies, Jazzombies, Lucky 7. Since 2014, he has been a permanent member of the Ytre Suløens Jass-Ensemble."
Kristoffer Kompen is educated in both jazz and classical trombone at the Norwegian Academy of Music He is one of the country's most versatile musicians and has worked in numerous theater and musical productions. In addition to trombone, Kompen also plays euphonium, tuba, percussion, and background vocals.
About the Concert Hall's Jazz Café:
Selected Saturdays at Jazz Café arranged in our bright and airy glass house that "floats" above Munkedamsveien. Here you will have the opportunity to experience different bands, in a smaller and intimate format, in addition to a number of exciting vocalists and musicians from various genres within jazz. At the same time, you can enjoy food and drink in the pleasant company of other jazz lovers. The doors open at 1:00 PM, the bands play from 2:00 PM to about 4:00 PM including a break.

Tables and chairs with unnumbered seating. You can buy a selection of sandwiches, pastries, and cake from the bar. We wish to reduce food waste, therefore there is a limited selection and quantity. It might occur that some of the food offerings will be sold out before the concert starts.
