Sports lodge café centrally located in Lillomarka, just east of Torkildstuhøgda. Sinober is owned by the Municipality of Oslo, but is geographically located in neigbouring Nittedal.
The lodge is located near ski trails, swimming and fishing lakes, and pedestrian and cycle paths. The café is open only on weekends, but there is also unstaffed room open on weekdays where buy drinks from vending machines.
There are goats, sheep, chickens and rabbits in the yard outside Sinober, which is home to a preschool on weekdays.
