Just a short distance from Oslo city centre, you’ll find Lanternen Yacht Club, idyllically situated on the museum peninsula of Bygdøy. Open during the summer months, the restaurant offers an enticing à la carte menu featuring a variety of delicious seafood dishes. Guests can enjoy their meal in the newly renovated interior or on the spacious outdoor terrace, beautifully positioned right by the Oslofjord.
The terrace also features a small kiosk serving soft-serve ice cream and freshly baked Norwegian waffles – a perfect treat on a sunny day.
Lanternen is located at Dronningen, where the Bygdøy ferry docks – just 10 minutes from Aker Brygge.
Private Events
Lanternen Yacht Club also provides a unique setting for parties and special occasions. For groups of 40 to 65 people, the indoor venue is available for private hire. The staff can additionally serve standing aperitifs either outside or at the bar.
