“I have a mind that easily drifts away from land.”
Johnny (45) creates rock’n’roll in Norwegian about the near and the distant. About what one has done, what one regrets, what one still dreams of – and the longing for another place, another time. All seen through the eyes of a man in the middle of life, with scrapes, stories, and still unrealized potential.
The debut album came in the spring of 2025 and was followed by a series of concerts that solidified the band's warm, honest, and melodically rich expression. Later that same year, the single “Get Me Home” was released, featuring a guest performance by the formidable guitarist Otto Jr.
Behind Johnny (45) stands songwriter and guitarist Kay Arne Sulutvedt, along with Are Fevang and Kai Henrik Ryen – all with solid experience from the acclaimed bluegrass band Ila Auto.
