Pass types and age limits
We offer 24h, 48h and 72h passes with the categories Adult, Senior and Child.
Children: The Oslo Pass for children is valid for children from 6 to 17 years of age.
Seniors: The Oslo Pass for seniors is valid for seniors from 67 years of age.
These are the same age limits as for the public transportation.
Discounts
Student discount:
A 20% student discount only applies to passes directly purchased at Oslo Visitor Centre for students under 30 years of age with a valid student ID card with photo and semester card, or a valid ISIC card (not ISIC bank card). The discount does not apply to high school (upper secondary school) students. To get the discount you must buy an Oslo Pass code for the app directly at Oslo Visitor Centre.
School groups:
The school group discount only applies for groups from elementary to secondary school (6 to 17 years old). School groups get a 20 % discount on the order. This includes both students and the accompanying adult(s). To order please send an e-mail to oslopass@visitoslo.com.
Transferring a pass?
You can transfer passes before activation. This means that you can purchase a pass for someone else and transfer it to their app after purchasing the pass. Under the pass there is a button called “Transfer pass”. Click on the button and follow the instructions to transfer a pass to another device. You must be online to transfer a pass.
