Ringkollen is a 600m high mountain, roughly 45km northwest of Oslo. From there, you can ride down to Sørkedalen valley, Lommedalen valley or to Sognsvann lake, or alternatively go northeast through the Nordmarka forest.
The bicycle bus runs on weekends from the middle of August through September. You can catch it at the Vigeland sculpture park, Lysaker and Sandvika. The service is set up by Skiforeningen (EN: The Association for the Promotion of Skiing).
