The buildings at Vøienvolden are only open during planned visits and events, but the garden is open for visits all year long.
The premises can be rented for meetings, seminars, dinners and weddings. In summer there is room for up to 100 guests; in winter the capacity is 35 people. Vøienvolden is run by the Society for the Preservation of Ancient Norwegian Monuments, the Oslo and Akershus departpemt has its office there.
