Oslo Glass Studio

At Oslo Glass Studio, you can experience the art of shaping glowing, molten glass. The studio is centrally located at Kirkeristen, a lush oasis of bazaars surrounding Oslo Cathedral, hidden in plain sight from the bustling shopping street Karl Johans gate. Here, you can witness the magical creation of glass firsthand, while also purchasing unique glassworks for yourself.

Oslo Glass Studio opened in 2023, but is an experienced institution within the glass field. The studio consists of three established artists, Kjersti Johannessen – Ina Kristine Hove and Jeanne-Sophie Aas – each distinguished within the Norwegian glass scene and with exhibitions both in Norway and abroad.

Their works adorn public buildings and private homes worldwide, and the largest museums showcasing Norwegian craftsmanship have all acquired pieces from Oslo Glass Studio.
