Linderud Manor has one of Norway’s best-preserved historic gardens, with exciting elements from the Renaissance, the Baroque, English landscape style, as well as functionalism. The garden is terraced on several levels with lawns, gravel paths, flower beds, an apple orchard, a pond and a long linden hall on the lower level. A climbing park for children and a local community garden are also located on the premises. The garden is open to the public every day throughout the year.
Every Saturday and Sunday during the summer season, open tours are arranged in the historic interiors of the manor's main building, which provide an exclusive insight into its history. The main building houses the art and furniture collection «De Mathiesenske Samlinger». Tickets for guided tours can be purchased digitally or in the museum shop.
The museum shop is open every Saturday and Sunday during the summer season. Here you can also get a cup of coffee, a piece of cake or a glass of cold apple juice from the manor's own orchard.
Guided tours for groups. Concerts, lectures, courses and cultural events during the summer season.
