Norway's national stage for dance, with performances that cover a wide range of dance forms - from baby performances to major international dance troupes, from new and established Norwegian choreographers.
Dance House Norway also organises workshops, master classes, discussions with artists, debates and exhibitions, as well as the street dancing festival Urban Moves and hip-hop classes for children and youth.
Dance House Norway is located at Vulkan, a former industrial area by the Akerselva river. The house is one of the most modern stage houses in Oslo, with top technical equipment, a main stage with seating for 334 spectators and a studio stage with room for a maximum of 150 spectators. The public areas also include a foyer and a large patio in front. Its closest neighbours is Mathallen Food Hall, hotels, bars and restaurants.
