At Aker Hospital Museum, you may see objects, photographs and descriptions from the hospital's history throughout more than 200 years. During the 1900's, Aker Hospital grew to be one of Norway's largest hospitals with many different specialties.
The museum is open every first and third tuesday of the month (except during holidays) 12:00-14:00.
Guided tours of the museum are available by appointment.
The museum is run by retired hospital staff, who are present on tuesdays between 10:00 and 14:00, in Tonsen Gård, in building 62 or building 44.
