The Norwegian Students' Society is located at Chateau Neuf, a huge concrete block to the south of Blindern Campus. Chateau Neuf hosts activities and entertainment throughout the year, including concerts, theatre, debates, film screenings and parties.
Chateau Neuf has two bars that are open on a daily basis, BokCaféen (The Book Café) and Glassbaren (The Glass Bar), as well as one of Oslo's greatest concert venues, Betong. There is also a cinema and two theatre stages. Glassbaren is open through the summer holidays.
Chateau Neuf is run by students. The students are organised into different voluntary unions, each with their own distinct responsibilities and activities.
