The award-winning artist, composer, and producer Ólafur Arnalds is coming to the Opera with his boldest and most adventurous project to date.
On a world tour with a unique concert project
As one of Iceland's foremost artists and composers, Ólafur Arnalds has generated several hundred million streams over the last decade. The tours following the albums re:member and some kind of peace received international acclaim, filling venues like the Royal Albert Hall, Sydney Opera House, and Walt Disney Concert Hall. He is now embarking on a new world tour with the concert concept Falling Apart Together.
Electronica meets classical music
The project is his most ambitious yet: Together with his dedicated team of string players, percussionists, and visual artists, he weaves new material alongside selected highlights from his catalog. Through music, light, and space, Falling Apart Together explores the distance we create between ourselves – and what happens when we dare to open up and let others in.
The result is a unique concert experience where electronica, classical music, and stage arts merge on the Main Stage.
