VisitOSLO is a limited company with shareholders from the city's travel trade and commerce. Our shareholders and partners are local, regional, and national companies operating within travel, tourism, transportation, and real estate.
Our daily work revolves around promoting the Oslo brand locally, nationally, and internationally and enhancing the city's reputation as an attractive and sustainable destination, while also serving as an inspiring host for residents and visitors.

VisitOSLO intends to be central in ensuring that the visitor economy within the destination of Oslo will increase its value creation by enabling access to a more sustainable customer base.
To achieve this, we will actively work towards building the Oslo brand as an attractive destination and provide visitors with the information and inspiration they need for an optimal stay.

In the context of Oslo's visitor economy VisitOSLO will be the most important communicator and distributor of the Oslo brand to visitors and potential visitors by identifying and conveying the destination’s most attractive qualities and attractions. Furthermore, we contribute to strategic efforts aimed at developing Oslo's brand position together with other key stakeholders. We strive to strengthen the Oslo brand as a destination through influencing, curating, and sharing Oslo narratives, as well as creating our own creative concepts in line with the needs of visitors and the visitor economy. To solve these tasks, we utilize owned, earned, and paid media to reach visitors and potential visitors in the most cost-effective ways possible. Our marketing efforts target visitors whose stays in Oslo generate high value, while maintaining a low impact on the environment and society.
