Where is the best place for a swim?

– I love swimming! Lucky for me, Oslo offers plenty of options. My favourite beaches are probably Ingierstrand and Bygdøy Sjøbad. For a swim in the city centre, Operastranda is a great option, located right next to the beautiful Opera house. This is especially nice during spring and autumn, when it is less crowded. In winter, you can combine freezing dips in the fjord with the hot saunas at Langkaia and at Sukkerbiten.

What are the best things about Oslo, according to you?

– I love Oslo because it has so much to offer, all year round. Being a capital city with all the usual opportunities of a big city, it retains a very nice small-town feel. Everything feels very close by, it's very green, clean, safe, and we are surrounded by nature!

What is your favourite attraction?

– The Rose Castle, with its beautiful outdoor art installations and educational project. Their aim is to educate visitors about the occupation of Norway during World War II, and about the basic principles of democracy, the rule of law and humanism.
