Most shops have extended opening hours the last weeks before Christmas: They close later in the evening, and they are open the last three Sundays before Christmas Eve.
25 and 26 December and 1 January are public holidays in Norway, and most shops and attractions are closed.
December 24th and December 31st are not public holidays, but many shops and offices close early. Many attractions are already closed.
The Oslo Visitor Centre is closed all Sundays in December, as well as 24 and 25 December and 1 January.
