Apart from voting rights for shareholders at VisitOSLO's general meeting, shareholders and other partners are afforded the same benefits. It is not possible to become a shareholder, without being a partner. VisitOSLO therefore refers to both partners and shareholders as "Partner".

Access to networking events

You may attend digital and physical information and networking seminars, project based work groups, social gatherings, arenas for B2B etc. You, as a partner, are welcome to provide suggestions and wishes for the content of these meetings. The dates will consistently be announced in VisitOSLO's calendar for yearly activities. VisitOSLO hosts digital morning meetings for partners once per month (except the month of July).

Presentation for the network

At suitable occasions, VisitOSLO may arrange for you to present your business to the rest of the network or talk about new developments (e.g. new exhibitions, renovations and reopenings) during one of VisitOSLO's seminars or meetings. The offer is available for both new and existing partners. The length of the presentation will depend on the format and duration of the seminar or meeting.

Prioritised listing on visitoslo.com

Your listing on visitoslo.com is shown higher up in relevant lists. This applies to one product listing per partner. Potential secundary listings will be shown further down in the lists, equal to non-partners. You are offered one update for your listing each year, and you also gets your listing translated to three languages, in addition to Norwegian: English, German and French. Businesses outside VisitOSLO's partner network only get their listing in Norwegian and English.

We work continuously to develop guides and suggestion lists on our website to meet our users' informational needs. In the preparation of such content, you and other partners are always prioritised to a reasonable extent and showcased where you are relevant for the content and for the intended target audience. Visibility in this type of content is not reserved for partners.

Instagram takeover

You, as a partner of VisitOSLO, may publish stories on VisitOSLOs Instagram account, which has 396 000 followers. These stories are published exclusively for 24 hours. You may book 3 takeovers within a year: the first one is free, and the next two can be purchased at a reduced market price. This type of promotion requires you to have an Instagram account for your business, and it requires you to deliver content that is relevant and engaging for the users. VisitOSLO has prepared clear guidelines for this, which all partners will have access to.

Product sales through Oslo Visitor Centre

You may sell your products through our counter at the tourist information, and ensure that visitor ready for purchase may book your offer quickly and efficiently with us. Oslo Visitor Centre offers ticket sales to sightseeing tours, events and other experiences as part of their services. Resale of products is reserved for partners, and a distribution deal entails that Partner has a product that is relevant to Oslo Visitor Centre's mission and customer base. Product sales occur both over the counter and at self-service sales points.

Brochure spots at Oslo Visitor Centre

Brochures are an efficient way of ensuring your visibility at Oslo Visitor Centre, as well as an important tool for staff at the tourist information centre when serving customers. VisitOSLO is happy to assist you with input for the brochure, and we have prepared guidelines for what the brochure should contain for best impact and to reduce paper waste. Your partnership includes one brochure spot. You may purchase additional spots at a discounted rate.

Stand at Oslo Visitor Centre

A stand entails that you spend half a day or one whole day at Oslo Visitor Centre to promote your product to our visitors. VisitOSLO has prepared guidelines to help you get the most out of your stand day. You get two free stand days through your partnership. You can purchase extra stand days may at a discounted rate.

Discount on on-screen ads, roll-ups and window vinyls at Oslo Visitor Centre

Add to your visibility at Oslo Visitor Centre, where visitors come to get inspiration for their stay! With a roll-up or a window vinyl, you will also be visible to the passers-by in Østbanehallen. You as a partner may purchase this visibility at a discounted rate.

Publication of images in VisitOSLO's image bank

You may have pictures of your business published in our image bank. The image and video bank is openly available to all, and is used in the marketing of the city. The image bank is used by VisitOSLO in the preparation of presentations, bids, press, and other forms of marketing material for the city and the company.

Prioritised use in media coverage

VisitOSLO's work includes promoting Oslo in the media, for example by facilitating press visits. Partnerspartners are prioritised to a reasonable extent and showcased where they are relevant. VisitOSLO does not guarantee press coverage, national or international.

Oslo Convention Bureau coordinates bids and prepares them together with the relevant professional environment. Partners are included where relevant.

Viewing tours with VisitOSLO

VisitOSLO is obliged to familiarise itself with the partners' offers and prioritises tours of partner companies. You may invite employees of VisitOSLO to get to know your business and its offering. Tours are organised during or after working hours, by agreement. VisitOSLO has prepared guidelines intended to ensure that both the partner and VisitOSLO get the most out of the tour.

Flexible payment arrangements

VisitOSLO offers partners invoice splitting or postponements when necessary, subject to individual agreement.

Get increased visibility on the front page or on other sections on visitoslo.com. As long as you keep to VisitOSLO’s guidelines, you are free to design the ad as you see fit.
