Valter Nilsson is coming to Rockefeller on December 10! There are few artists who are getting more attention in Sweden at the moment. His career has taken off completely over the past year, and he is selling out nearly everything across the border. In August, he will perform at Bananpiren in his hometown Gothenburg, and 12,000 tickets were snatched up in just a few days.
He had practically given up on the pop dream and was a newly graduated naval officer when his music career, after many detours, suddenly took off with the album Bland de gyllene och de allmänt brända in 2025. Here, Valter left English behind in favor of Swedish, and presented a soul-inspired rock’n’roll filled with down-to-earth stories, social engagement, and a good dose of cheekiness.
On the new album Högsbo Riviera, he further develops his expression and expands the soundscape with brass and strings, and one can find appreciative nods to both Håkan Hellström and Bruce Springsteen.
Here at home, he sold out Salt in April, and this winter, it's finally set for Valter Nilsson at Rockefeller!
