U.D.O.

2027 is a milestone year for Udo Dirkschneider: he turns 75 years old, U.D.O. celebrates its 40th anniversary, and the band releases its 20th studio album. Three good reasons for a major tour – and one of the stops is Oslo.

As the vocalist in Accept, Dirkschneider helped shape European heavy metal in the 80s. Classics like “Balls to the Wall” and “Metal Heart” are still reference points in the genre. When he founded U.D.O. in 1987, he continued in the same vein and built up a solid catalog over four decades – without significantly changing course along the way.

The music is direct and without unnecessary detours: heavy riffs, high tempo, and a vocal that has not lost its character. The live experience follows the same line – tight, loud, and focused on the catalog rather than the show. With the anniversary tour behind them, the audience can expect a set that spans broadly across the career.

On February 18, U.D.O. will perform at Vulkan in Oslo. A great opportunity to see one of the genre's most steadfast veterans in an intimate setting.
