The Norwegian soprano Lise Davidsen is joined by a number of acclaimed collaborators: The Norwegian Broadcasting Orchestra, Grete Pedersen, The Soloists' Choir Young, and Leif Ove Andsnes, performing well-known Christmas classics.
Lise Davidsen has established herself in just a few years as a dominant force on the world's biggest opera stages. She is a regular guest at the largest opera houses in Europe and has received exceptional responses from both audiences and critics.
The breakthrough came in 2015 when she won top prizes at Operalia, the Queen Sonja Competition, and the Hans Gabor Belvedere Competition. Since then, she has had triumphant debuts at the world's leading opera houses and festivals, which continually invite her back. Among the highlights are the BBC Proms, Salzburg Easter Festival, Carnegie Hall debut, and the prestigious Summer Night Concert in Vienna in front of over 100,000 audience members. Her solo concert on the stage of the Metropolitan Opera was sold out.
