Herborg Kråkevik & Trondheimsolistene in the Opera
Herborg Kråkevik & Trondheimsolistene with pianist Helge Lilletvedt
We walk together to the Opera – with Kråkevik's songbook.
Herborg Kråkevik is coming to Oslo's most beautiful concert hall with our song treasures, alongside pianist Helge Lilletvedt and Trondheimsolistene.
“Never has the Norwegian song treasury been interpreted in a finer way,” said the jury when Herborg was awarded Spellemann of the Year in 2000, and the album Kråkeviks songbok became a folk favorite.
This year, Trondheimsolistene and Herborg present a new collection of songbook treasures on the album We Walk Together. In the Opera, you will hear songs from both albums with enchanting musical arrangements, woven together with entertaining stories and brought to life on a large screen with the beloved Norwegian paintings we have!
For some of us, these are songs and images we have grown up with; for others, they are new discoveries, but this evening, Herborg and the musicians hope that we all will experience this cultural heritage as our own.
Maybe there will be sing-alongs, maybe laughter when “Dance my song, weep my song” and other classics resonate in the Opera's grand hall. Come and experience the works of the foremost songwriters and painters Norway has had – from National Romanticism to the present day.
We promise a musically and verbally entertaining evening!
