With Viking Biking & Hiking you can experience Oslo like a local – either on a bike or on foot. Viking Biking & Hiking offers guided tours in the city, hiking in the forest and walking tours on the islands of the inner Oslo Fjord.
Guided tours
You can choose whether you want to participate in a public group tour or book a private tour with a guide. Private tours can be tailored to your wishes - contact Viking Biking & Hiking for more info. Private tours can be offered in French, Spanish, English, German and Norwegian.
Public Bike Tours: Oslo Highlights
All-year-round, Viking Biking & Hiking offers daily tours with English speaking tour guides: Oslo Highlights, Oslo Winter Higlights. The tours depart at 10am, 7 days per week.
Public Nature Walk: Island Hopping
Throughout the year Viking Biking & Hiking offer island hopping tours in the Oslo Fjord. The tours depart at 10am, 10:30am or 11am (depending on the season), 7 days per week.
Reservations are not necessary, but recommended. Prices are all-inclusive: bike and optional helmet provided for all bike tours; public transport tickets provided for all nature walks.
Participants should be at the tour starting point at least 15 minutes before the tour starts.
Bicycle rental
Viking Biking & Hiking also offers bike rental for both groups and individual people – 7 days a week. They also provide maps that show the best cycling routes to the most popular sites in Oslo. You can choose between standard bikes, electric bikes or child bikes/seats. For more info.
