Oslo's local flavours and fjord stories - Food walking tour and cruise
We begin our journey by the most important building in the country, the parliament, from here getting an overview of the city center, on our way to our first tasting. Your certified guide will introduce you to Norwegian culinary heritage and the unique stories of the places we taste food.
After a few stops, it’s time to head to the water. We board a comfortable boat and set out on a 90-minute cruise through the Oslofjord, offering stunning views of the city skyline, islands, and surrounding nature. While on board, the tasting continues. As you relax and enjoy the scenery, your guide will give historic context to the views passing by.
To finish the day we will disembark the cruise back in the center of Oslo and make our way to our last tasting stop. Here you will cook food over an open fire like a true Norwegian, enjoying the outdoors and view over the Bjørvika area.
More than just a guided walk, this is a sensory journey through Norwegian culture – ideal for curious travelers who want to experience Oslo with both their palate and their heart.
