Oslo Sauna Association: Sukkerbiten

On the fjord, between the Opera house and Sørenga wharf, you find the floating sauna rafts and the hot tub of Oslo Sauna Association. Enjoy the cosy warmth of the saunas, cool down in the fjord, or just enjoy the warm water in the tub whilst savouring the view of the fjord and the islands.



The saunas and the hot tub can be booked online, and Oslo Fjord Sauna has drop-in sessions almost every day of the year. The saunas are run by the volunteer organisation Sørenga Badstuflåte. They currently have fourteen saunas with a capacity of 6 to 25 persons each.

The large sauna Trosten is adapted for wheelchairs in the first row, with railings one can lean on.

Oslo Sauna Association also runs "Bademaschinen" sauna raft, equipped with two saunas, a changing room and a diving board.

Take along a towel, bathing suit, sandals (wool socks are recommended in winter) and a bottle of water. There are changing rooms in each sauna and an outdoor shower with cold water for the sauna’s guests.
